Amigas & Rivais is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT in association with Televisa and originally broadcast from August 6, 2007, to January 18, 2008. It is a remake of the Mexican telenovela Amigas y rivales (2001), created by Emilio Larrosa. Adapted by Letícia Dornelles, with text supervision by Thereza di Giácomo, the telenovela stars Cacau Melo, Lisandra Cortez, Karla Tenório, Thaís Pacholek, and Talita Castro. The story follows four young women from different social backgrounds: Nicole, Laura, Olívia, and Helena. Although they have different personalities and life experiences, they form a strong friendship while facing the challenges of youth, love, family conflicts, and personal struggles. Their lives become complicated by secrets, betrayals, jealousy, and the schemes of Rosana, Helena's manipulative stepmother, who is willing to do anything to achieve her goals.

Os Ricos Também Choram is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from July 18, 2005, to January 14, 2006. It is a Brazilian adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Los ricos también lloran (1979), based on the original story by Inés Rodena. Adapted by Gustavo Reiz and Aimar Labaki, with collaboration from Marcos Lazarini, the telenovela stars Thaís Fersoza, Márcio Kieling, Ludmila Dayer, Mika Lins, Françoise Forton, and Jonas Bloch. The story follows Mariana, a young woman raised on a farm without knowing she is the illegitimate daughter and rightful heir of the late Colonel Evaristo Martins. After being driven away from her home, she moves to the town of Ouro Verde, where she falls in love with Alberto Domingues. As she uncovers the truth about her origins, Mariana must face greed, family rivalries, betrayal, and powerful enemies determined to steal her inheritance. Despite the many obstacles, she fights for justice, love, and her rightful place in the family.

The documentary reveals the creative process of theater director Amir Haddad and his group, Tá Na Rua, showing how the culture of Rio de Janeiro and collective work mix in the company's rehearsals and shows.
