Kuanysh, who is about to enroll at an American university, is the pride of his single mother, Dinara. Divorced when Kuanysh was young, Dinara has devoted herself to caring for her son, but as a teenager he has a world his mother is not privy to. One day, Kuanysh goes to a club with his friends and becomes involved in an assault incident, which turns into a homicide when the victim dies during the investigation. The wealthy and influential parents of Kuanysh’s friends attempt to make him the culprit, and now Dinara must protect her son by her own means.

Year 2009. A small town on the shores of Issyk-Kul. Aktan, a schoolboy who dreams of joining the ranks of the National Security Committee, is faced with the injustice of the justice system. The series is based on a real story about teenagers of the 00s. 16-year-old boys from a criminal "dark yard", under an impression of popular gangster TV series, dream of becoming cool gangsters. To do this, the four friends decide to go on a "big" case, after which their life turns into unsuccessful attempts to escape from the consequences and bring everything back.
