Film5.3KomediSuçMarseilles, 1919. Georges Sarret is a distinguished and respected lawyer, recently honoured for his services in the First World War. He takes as his lover Philomène Schmidt, a young German woman, who has just lost her job and home. To enable Philomène to remain in France, Georges finds her a husband – who dies conveniently of natural causes a month after the wedding. Georges repeats the trick with Philomène's sister, Catherine – marrying her off to an old man who dies suddenly so that the scheming trio can profit from his life insurance. When an accomplice in the scheme, Marcel Chambon, threatens to blackmail them, Georges and his two lovers have no option but to kill him and his mistress...
Film5.8KomediThree episodes of casual erotic character: a porn scriptwriter and his secretary, a man locked up among homosexuals, and a shy man who decides to hire a prostitute over the phone.
Film4.3A family from the wrong side of the tracks moves to Rome. 16-year-old Olivia has a hard time making friends in her new school but eventually teams up with Lilli, a great fan of the film "Grease" and its star Olivia Newton-John.
Film4.9KomediRomantikThis slight skewering of the mindset of the Fascist era when Italy’s “White Telephone” films (conservative minded sophisticated comedy-dramas revolving around the bourgeoisie) were in vogue gives Agostina Belli her best role – an ambitious Venetian girl that goes from chambermaid to prostitute to singer to film-star to mistress of ‘Il Duce’! – for which she received a special David Di Donatello award, the Italian equivalent of the Oscar.
Film6.0DramA recollection of a night spent walking the streets of the Eternal City, following the steps of two young boys: Vlad, a modern Romanian boy of life, and Cosimo who has just moved to the city. Both cross the city from head to toe in search of redemption, liberation or perhaps a place to hide. To find it they will go as far as the sea, as far as the body of a young prostitute, but they will find it, perhaps, only in the feeling that brings them together and binds them.
