Gerri and Anneke, who is now heavily pregnant, have sold their flat in Eindhoven and are temporarily living in a bungalow park. To earn some extra money to buy their dream home, they decide to participate in a reality show about their lives. When it turns out that Gerri and Anneke are not providing any spectacular television, director Reggi intervenes to save the show. His influence puts a strain on Gerri and Anneke's relationship, which was already under high tension now that the birth is approaching.

Best Friends follows the life of a group of friends at their high school ‘Spangalis College’. Inside and outside of school exciting and challenging experiences take place. There is drama and joy in school, family, teachers, parents, divorce, bullying, and always dreams for the future.
