Tim Winton'ın çok satan romanından uyarlanan Blueback, okyanus, güzel bir deniz yaratığı ve genç bir kızın dünyayı değiştirme gücü hakkında güncel bir hikaye.

1930s Australia, the colonial frontier: two swaggering outlaws roll into a mining town and unleash a wave of cruelty, leading three kids to break free from their white masters and set off across the 'sweet country' of central Australia in search of a safe home.

With problems on the home front, 15-year-old Murra is on the verge of lashing out. That is, until her policeman uncle thwarts her self-destructive behaviour with a lifeline: a “photo-safari for at-risk kids”. Murra isn’t entirely convinced, but she soon joins cantankerous Kylie, uptight Sean, happy-go-lucky Elvis, and camp counsellors Fernando and Michelle on a transformative bus trip to the Pilbara. On the trail, the teens learn about fun, friendship and first crushes, as well as the forces of ‘reality’ that puncture the bubble of youth.

A shy teen wants desperately to fit in and enjoy his high school years if only his dead best friend and a posse of rotting ghouls would stop sabotaging him at every turn.

Joined by his band of merry mates Georgia Blue and Little Johnny, Robbie Hood is a charismatic thirteen-year-old misfit with a heart of gold, who skirts the law to right wrongs he sees playing out in his community. Short of money, and struggling to survive, Robbie and his mates have only themselves to rely on. Guided by the memory of his mother and a strong sense of what’s right and wrong, everything Robbie does is for a reason and, whether good or bad, he does it with the best of intentions. Even if it means helping out his dickhead father.
