An original TV play. The main character is twelve-year-old Ivan. He lives a lonely life under the patronage of a strict aunt who wants him to be an "exceptional person". After the death of Ivan's mother, Ivan's father has withdrawn into himself and forgets that his son needs not only financial security, but also a friend in his father.

The poverty of Slovak workers during the Great Depression during the Masaryk Republic reached such a level that it led to a well-organized strike. The capitalists and their minions tried by all means to break it. Even the workers who had not yet been elected soon recognized their place and supported the initiative of the communists, who selflessly led the strike movement. The poster-like, purely ideological story succumbs to paper-like dialogues and plots, and the narrative portrayal hardly convinces of the credibility of the whole story.

A dramatically unusual story of the most elusive meeting of former classmates from primary school, who, thanks to their first social experiences, corrected adolescent swarms and clarified their possibilities for real self-employment, their life desires and creative goals in life.
