Do we still sing the praises of folly like Erasmus, or is it trendy again to be smart? And if so, who is the smartest? Who can talk about the medals won at the Olympic Games in London, but at the same time knows who Captain Haddock is? Who knows whether Lacan was a hair growth product or a psychoanalyst and can also program their own digital television? Who has déjà vu when leafing through the Encyclopedia Britannica and when reading the interviews with the new Miss Waregem Koerse? Who, oh who, is the smartest person in Flanders, Belgium, Europe, and by extension, the world? That is determined by a fierce battle between three fellow human beings. Every day, someone is eliminated, someone who may not be the smartest, but who is perhaps cherished in their family circle because of their many other talents. The others advance and are joined by a new challenger every day.

Exciting challenges and great stunts. That's how we know the Coppens brothers. Now they put special rooms full of scientific puzzles, tests and assignments that their famous friends have to bring to a successful conclusion. What familiar face cracks the Code of Coppens?

Lieven Scheire wanders like a forensic blood hound on planet science and all her secondary planets. Faithfully assisted by Googleman and his one-man house orchestra Stijn Cole.

Walter Wilson (Kevin Janssens) and Robin De Rover (Ella-June Henrard) once started their careers in the police force with great dedication and noble ideals, but too often saw months of intensive and dangerous detective work lost due to what they considered irrelevant procedural errors, dexterity of expensive lawyers and dubious decisions of foreign judges. They are increasingly colouring outside the lines during their patrols: for example, they tip criminals off about future police actions and get heavily paid for them. Wilson is also addicted (women, booze, drugs...) and that makes him incalculable. When he is suspended from the police force after repeated conflicts, he looks for even more rapprochement with the criminal environment, but in the meantime is tipsy game.

30 Belgian top athletes and 10 famous Flemings compete against each other every day in a heroic and unique heptathlon. And they all do this in a metal container of 12 by 2.2 meters, which is driven to them. And they only get one assignment: blast as fast and as hard as possible on every part to set the best time and score over the entire course.

Well-known Flemish people compete in 'BV darts' for the title of 'Darts champion'.

Kamal Kharmach looks back on a year full of chaos and drama in a hilarious and razor-sharp year-end show.

Kamal Kharmach makes his debut as 'end-of-year presenter'. Following his successful tour 'De schaamte voorbij' (Beyond Shame), the comedian shares his thoughts on everything that caught his attention this year in 'Mag ik even' (May I just...). He does so in his typical, seemingly shy, yet socially critical and above all hilarious style. A year full of climate protesters and without governments, resigning ministers and technically unemployed politicians, the burned-down Notre Dame, Brexit, baby Pia and the Flemish Canon: plenty of material for a spectacular conference debut.

2022 has been an eventful year so far. Russia's invasion of Ukraine, rising energy prices, and the spread of monkeypox. Fortunately, Kamal Kharmach has the necessary experience from his three previous end-of-year conferences to dissect a year like 2022 for us.
