Clint Eastwood'dan muhteşem bir aksiyon klasiği! In the Line of Fire, Das Boot ile adını tüm dünyada duyuran Alman yönetmen Wolfgang Petersen’ın Hollywood'a transfer olduktan sonra çektiği bir aksiyon-gerilim filmi. Amerikan Başkanı'nı öldürmeye çalışan bir psikopat ile her şeye rağmen bu olaya karşı koymaya kararlı bir Gizli Servis Ajanı arasındaki mücadeleye dayanan film, takıntılı kötü adam Mitch Leary rolüyle John Malkovich'e En İyi Yardımcı Erkek Oyuncu dalında Oscar adaylığı kazandırdı. Petersen, In The Line of Fire'dan sonra Air Force One / Hava Kuvvetleri Bir'de ise Amerikan Başkanı'nı bu kez Rus teröristlerin hedef tahtası haline getirmişti.
