Willi Zubrodt is delegated by his department to a parachuting course at the GST. As he is not very disciplined, has no respect for the instructors and does not fit into the collective, the instructors try to show him up and force his expulsion from the course. Actually he wanted her sister, but a retired Leninist party member changes his mind. This gives him the courage to persevere in his work, albeit with the helping hand of the obligatory retired party member. And behold, in the end Otto invents a new method of building, which saves the brigade many hours of work.

The young, good-looking Gina can't find work in her profession as an interpreter. Being idle is not her thing. To escape the curse of being overqualified and at least get a job as a housekeeper for a manager, she has to disguise herself. A bit ugly, a bit blonde and a bit stupid. Gina succeeds so perfectly that even her aunt, who actively and cunningly helped Gina get the job, is amazed. Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD.
