White Bird: A Wonder Story, İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında Nazi işgali altındaki Fransa'da bir çocuk ve ailesi tarafından saklanan genç bir Yahudi kızın hikayesini konu ediyor. 11 yaşındaki Julian Albans, yüz deformitesi ile doğmuş bir sınıf arkadaşını küçümseyen zalim bir çocuktur. Bu durum üzerine büyükannesi Sara ona bir hikaye anlatır: 1940'larda Fransa'da yaşayan Yahudi bir kız, Nazi Almanya'sının anavatanını işgal etmesini izlemek zorunda kalmıştır. Yahudi nufüs toplanıyor ve zalim yöneticiler çocukları hedef alıyordur. Küçük kız, sınıf arkadaşı Julien ve ailesi tarafından kurtarılarak, saklanır. Julien'in çocuk felci nedeniyle yüzünün bozulmasıyla, Yahudi kız dahil sınıf arkadaşları onunla dalga geçer. Ancak Yahudi kız saklandığı sürede Julien ile daha çok vakit geçirdiğinde önyargılarından kurtulmayı öğrenir.

Marika Sándorfi is hiding a Jewish boy during the dramatic era of the First Slovak State on the Slovak-Hungarian border. Šimon Holan, the boy in hiding, has a special ability to survive thanks to dreaming and a child’s fantasy.

Urban, an orphan, serves a greedy master watchmaker as an apprentice. When Urban grows up, he falls in love with the watchmaker's daughter Laura and wants to marry her. Before this can happen, the master sends his apprentice out into the world with the task of looking for a mythical watch that can warn of death. No one knows if the watch even exists, but if Urban doesn't bring it back, Laura will never be his wife. The watchmaker's apprentice therefore sets out on a long journey full of hardships, which he must overcome with bravery, skill and a good heart.
