Film7.3KomediCharles Chaplin'in çektiği bir kısa filmdir. Charlie, bir sokak serserisidir. Karnını doyurmak için gündüz geçici işler yapmakta, gece ise bir arsada uyumaktadır. Bir akşam bir sosis satıcısından gelen güzel kokularla uyanan Charlie satıcıya çaktırmadan bir sosis kapar, fakat bu sırada bir polis, yaptığını görür. Charlie, sosisi yerine bıraksa da polis onunla uğraşmaya devam eder. Charlie oradan kaçar. İşçi bulma kurumuna gelen Charlie,ilk sırada olmasına rağmen işi alamaz. Dışarı çıktığında ise sokak köpeği Scrabs'i diğer sokak köpeklerinden kurtarır ama bu sırada ortalık karışır. Bir sosis satıcısı daha bulur ve orada para vermeden hem kendini hem de köpeğini doyurur. Bir kulübe girmek isteyen Charlie, oraya köpek ile giremeyeceğinden Scrabs’i pantolonunun içine saklar. Buradaki utangaç şarkıcı şarkıcı Edna ile tanışır. Ama tabii ki bu kulüpten de atılacaktır.
