Öte yandan, Küçük Ze çocukluğundan beri tam bir suçlu özellikleri taşır; acımasız, akıllı ve hırslıdır. Küçük yaşta planladığı bir genelev soygunu sırasında öldürmenin tadını alır, gün geçtikçe bu konudaki iştahı giderek artar. 70’lerde Ze, sakin ve becerikli Bee’nin desteğiyle, favela’nın (mahallenin) uyuşturucu ticareti üzerindeki kontrolünü sağlamlaştırır. 80’lerin başlarında “Tanrıkent”i çetelerarası savaş sarar ve amansız genç suçlulardan oluşan yeni bir kuşak çıkıp “eskilerin” yerini almaya çalışırken, artık bir fotoğraf makinesine sahip olan Rocket, onu bu bitmek tükenmek bilmez katliam döngüsünü belgelemede kullanır...

In order to recreate a picture taken in 1974, during the inauguration of São Paulo subway, Pedro meets two school friends he had not seen for 40 years. If their existential crises, ageing and (astray) ways were not enough, Pedro announces, to everyone's surprise, he intends to take his own life — even though not before he sees his soccer team win a championship.
