Pepe Alcázar

A gypsy who sells fish in a market, sings on weekends in a tablao. One day, a professor, exiled in Cádiz for her political ideas, offers the cantaora a job.

Spain, 1974. A teenager and his father are traveling in a car that is the only property they have. Their life is a continuous move by desolate coastal apartments in the tourism low season. When forced to change route and get away from sea, their lives will change dramatically.

Recounts the experiences of a middle-class family, the Alcántaras, during the last years of the rule of Francisco Franco and the beginning of the Spanish Transition to democracy.
