A medical student convicted of debauchery is reintegrated into society. The film was produced in 1969 but released marginally in 1975 on the same day as 3 other more transcendent Argentine films, so it was forgotten almost instantly.

Based on the work of Jose Hernandez, the film tells aspects of the life of the gaucho Martin Fierro.

During the day, a non-conformist young man and his friends try to make a living by doing odd jobs; at night, they sink at the Moderno Bar.

Upon learning of the murder of a friend, a police inspector sets out to take justice on his own. This attitude, contrary to his usual convictions, will gradually destroy him.

A young man is tempted by a wealthy woman to leave his girlfriend.
