The Shield, 2002 - 2008 yılları arasında FX televizyonunda 7 sezon boyunca yayınlanmış bir polisiye drama dizisidir. Vic, departmanın lideri ve en iyi polisidir. Vic'in bu denli başarılı olmasını sağlayan ise suçlularla çıkarları doğrultusunda işbirliği yapmasıdır. Vic Mackey'in yaptıkları departmanda hoş karşılanmasa da işlerin yolunda gitmesi sebebiyle bu pis olaylara burnunu sokmak isteyen pek yoktur. The Shield, 2002 yılında başrol oyuncusu Michael Chiklis ile Emmy Ödülü kazanmıştır. Yine 2003 yılında aynı oyuncu ile Altın Küre ödülünü kazanmıştır.
