Film6.8KomediDram"Charlestown Chiefs" için spor tam anlamıyla hüzünlü bir mesele: Bu köhne sanayi kentinin buz hokeyi takımı, kelimenin tam anlamıyla ligin en dip noktasında yer alıyor. Maç üstüne maç kaybediyorlar ve puan tablosunda adları bile anılmıyor. Taraftarlar onları ıslıklarla protesto ederken, oyuncuların eşleri bile bu sefalete gözlerini kapatıp başka yönlere bakıyor. Ancak işler değişmeye başlar. Antrenör Reggie (Paul Newman), sonunda kendini tutamaz ve rakip takımın kalecisini hakaretlerle kışkırtır. Sonuç? Büyük bir kavga, kurallara aykırı sert müdahaleler ve Chiefs’in ilk galibiyeti! Uzun zamandır beklenen çıkışın sırrı keşfedilmiştir. Takım, psikolojik savaş ve özellikle sert oyun taktikleriyle rakiplerini birer birer yere serer. Taraftarlar bu yeni tarza bayılır, özellikle de Hanson Kardeşler’in sahaya çıkışıyla coşku doruğa ulaşır...

Film6.3KomediDramMuffin's wedding to Dino Corelli is to be a big affair. Except the ageing priest isn't too sure of the ceremony, only the families actually turn up as the Corelli Italian connection is suspect, security guards watch the gifts rather over-zealously, and Dino's grandma expires in bed just as the reception starts. Could be quite an occasion.
