Aoi Midori is a pharmacist and in the 8-year span of her career, she has worked according to her strong belief that "One must know the patient well in order to prescribe the correct medication as medicine is the bond that connects the patient's today to his/her daily life henceforth". Due to that, Aoi usually takes a long time in her consultations with the patients, and this causes her to be complained by her colleagues for being too inefficient in her work. Aoi shrugs off the complaints as her goal is to help the patients regain the daily life that they once took for granted.

At the end of the first year of high school, Futaba Yoshioka meets Kou Tanaka who was her first love. In their middle school days, they attended the same school, but he suddenly transferred to another school. Three years later, he appears in front of her again with the different last name of Kou Mabuchi. His personality also seems to have changed from warm to cold. He is like a totally different person from three years ago. Futaba Yoshioka slowly learns what happened to Kou Mabuchi for the past three years and she become to have feelings for him again.

The story revolves around the love, friendship and relationships between four characters who meet by chance.

Kankuro Haruhara is a research officer at the Meteorological Research Institute. With his handsome appearance and fresh smile, he appears on the weather segment of a news program. He is also a chief at the SDM (Special Disaster Management) Headquarters, whose purpose is to protect lives from weather disasters. While he is excellent at his work and possesses a vast knowledge of meteorology, he is often resented by his colleagues at work due to making biting remarks. Because of Kankuro’s passion and straightforward mindset on saving lives, he eventually changes how his colleagues view him. Kankuro tries to make SDM Headquarters the best that it can be, and he also chases after a mystery.

Koharu is a dull high school girl who is always alone. Her only hobby is making plastic models. One day, Koharu stops by a mysterious antique shop and purchases a plastic model gun and a toy figure named Alice. After spending the entire night assembling the gun, Koharu wakes up and witnesses bullets flying everywhere in school. She then meets Alice who moves like a human and tells her to get ready for a survival battle called "Girl Gun Fight", where she has to attack her schoolmates with a gun.

A man appears in front of her and introduces himself as a guide from the afterlife. He tells her that if she gives her heart to him, he will make a miracle for her.

Higashiyama Mitsuru is an alien who landed in Japan about 400 years ago and is currently hiding his identity and abilities by living as a university lecturer. Mitsuru is able to return back to his home star in three months time, but suddenly Sasahara Tsubaki, a top actress who is known to be a "troublemaker" moved to the condominium unit next to his and changed his life completely. What will happen between the two as Mitsuru slowly falls in love with Tsubaki just before he is about to return home?

Shin Karino is an unpopular manga writer and he is single. He lives in an apartment complex that has a rule forbidding children from living there. One day, Shin Karino's doorbell rings. When he opens his apartment door, he sees a small boy. The boy is 5-year-old Kotaro Sato. Kotaro Sato tells Shin Karino that he moved into the neighborhood. Shin Karino makes a weird face, because of the rule of his apartment complex. Kotaro Sato says that he lives by himself. At first, Shin Karino is annoyed by Kotaro Sato, but residents of the apartment building, including Shin Karino, become attached to Kotaro Sato.

Kuraishi Ena is a high school girl in Minato Ward. She is a gifted girl who was born with the ability to see colors 100 times more than normal people. A drama that follows the lives of a group of college students who are trying to figure themselves out while they are on the way to becoming adults

A penniless and homeless Yoichiro makes Nita buy him curry on the grounds that he saved him, and mutters briefly about his family. Kiyokawa Kaoruko who runs Kiyokawa Realty has been keeping the ashes of Yoichiro’s late father because she used to be the caretaker of his apartment. There appears to be some significant reason why Yoichiro tries out curry every day.

The main characters of this story are eight high school boys who are in the so-called "Yarogumi", the only class which has only boys. Of course, there is no opportunity to interact with girls and the group has lost the ability to talk to them so, in order to get a girlfriend, the eight work hard to overcome their "illness", even though they always end up failing.

On the day of the autumn festival parade, the man was killed. Physicist Manabu Yukawa, Detective Kaoru Utsumi and Detective Shunpei Kusanagi work together on his case.
