Henry VIII wants to annul his marriage of twenty years and marry Anne Boleyn. The Pope and most of Europe oppose him. Into this impasse steps Thomas Cromwell: a wholly original man, a charmer, and a bully, both idealist and opportunist, astute in reading people, and implacable in his ambition. On the mountains of weapons left over from civilization, only the young and strong survived. But some people are gradually regaining their memory and human consciousness. Our story is about these few who have partially "woken up" and are trying to find their place in a new world. In his previous life, Ghosh is a polymath and an intellectual to the core. Now he is among those who will have to not only regain their memory, but also rediscover themselves as people. They are opposed by those who use their newfound memory and knowledge to bend the world under themselves.

However, none of them think about giving up. Each of them was ready to sacrifice his life in order to protect his native land. None of these brave people was born a hero. The myth of the red ghost is a heroic deed without a soldier's Soviet soldier in the Great Patriotic War who instilled in the animals, deadly fear of German soldiers.
