Friends With Money'i, The New York Times, hayatta olmanın dramı ile ilgili acı tatlı bir komedi olarak adlandırıyor. Film, gayet güzel ve rahat giden hayatlarının dengesi, orta yaşın getirdiği gerçeklerle yüzleşmeye başladıklarında altüst olan dört çok yakın arkadaşın hikayesini anlatıyor.

Sully is a psychotic criminal who has just been released from prison. Now he has only one goal: revenge against police detective Elaine Reynolds, who he blames for the death of his wife's unborn child.

Reverend Eric Camden and his wife Annie have always had their hands full caring for seven children, not to mention the friends, sweethearts and spouses that continually come and go in the Camden household.
