Carlos Belmar

Ramiro is a teacher from the south of Chile that does not expect much of life. His relationship with his wife Irma has been out of a passion for years. Unexpectedly Irma decides to abandon him. The surrounding events take out the worst of Ramiro while he becomes an obscure person. A story of transformation, when the darkness within rises.

Concerned about the future of her three children, a widow takes them to the city with the purpose of getting them married.

The story of the Herreras, a middle-class family living in Santiago of Chile. The plot is set between 1982 and 1989, in the military dictatorship, and revolves around historical events during the 80's, especially the economic crisis of 1982 and the 8.0 magnitude earthquake in Santiago.
