High-school hijinks and song/dance numbers.

Wacky hijinks in a brothel. Union officials misappropriating funds, a customer dying in bed, some foxy grandpas cutting up on a visit to the big city... it's all hilarious. Or not.

A young girl fights relentlessly to save her drug-addicted mother from a dangerous underworld as the Los Angeles Police Department fights to destroy that world.

In a building, at the same time a girl's birthday is celebrated and an old man who died of cold is being watched.
