Together, they fought the female demon of the Yin Wind Cave time and again. Ultimately, they joined forces with the Taoist priest of the Upper Qing Palace to eliminate the demon. After accomplishing this feat, the clam spirit retired from her duties. Later, Qin Kun passed the imperial examinations and became an official.
