Johnny Clay, son bir vurgun yaparak emekli olmaya karar veren, eski bir mahkumdur. Bir hipodromu soymaya niyetlenen Johnny ve ortağı Nikki sağlam bir plan yaparlar. Lord ailesi bu teklifi kabul etmek zorunda kalırlar ve bu yüzden dergi Tracy'lere yazar Mike Connor'ı ve fotoğrafçı Liz Imbrie'yi gönderir. Tracy dergiden gelenlere bir oyun oynamaya başlar ve böylelikle onlardan kendince intikamını alır. Connor, Tracy'ye aşık olmuştur. Tracy artık ona aşık üç adamdan birini seçmek zorunda kalır. Bu seçim sürecinde ise kendini keşfetmeye başlar.

Research chemist Barnaby Fulton works on a fountain of youth pill for a chemical company. One of the labs chimps gets loose in the laboratory and mixes chemicals, but then pours the mix into the water cooler. When trying one of his own samples, washed down with water from the cooler, Fulton begins to act just like a twenty-year-old and believes his potion is working. Soon his wife and boss are also behaving like children.

Kafası karışık doktorlarla ve de durumdan hiç hoşlanmayan kedisiyle yaşadığı enteresan maceralar sonucunda kendisini yanlışlıkla evinin bodrumuna kilitlenmiş halde bulur. Bundan sonra yaşamı, bir hayatta kalma savaşına dönüşür. Boyunun yarattığı engellere karşı tek silahı, kıvrak zekasıdır.

NBC Sunday Showcase was a series of hour-long specials telecast in color on NBC during the 1959-60 season. The flexible anthology format varied weekly from comedies and science fiction to musicals and historical dramas. The recent introduction of videotape made repeats possible, and two 1959 dramas had repeats in 1960. On the heels of his Broadway hits The Pajama Game and Damn Yankees, Richard Adler composed the opening Sunday Showcase theme music, titled "Sunday Drive".

The O. Henry Playhouse was an early American anthology television series which featured television adaptations of short stories written by 19th-century author O. Henry and primarily set in New York City. The series was both hosted and narrated by Thomas Mitchell, who portrayed the title character, and featured several television and film stars during its run such as DeForest Kelley, Lisa Montell, Otto Kruger, Max Showalter and Ernest Borgnine. The series was syndicated and initially ran from January 23 to May 25, 1957, and its final episode aired on November 19 of that year.
