Kısaltma olarak kullanılan şifrenin anlamı sorulduğunda grevciler, Always Carry A Bible (Daima Kutsal Kitabı Taşı) olduğunu söylemişler. Filmde olaylar üç çevik kuvvet polisi (İtalyanlar hızlı polis diyor) etrafında dönüyor ve kendilerini şiddet dolu bir dünyaya orantılı/orantısız tepki verirken görüyoruz. Nefretin ve ümitsizliğin hâkim olduğu bir toplumda, agresyon ölçüsünü yitirirken polisimiz ifade vermek zorunda kaldığında davranışlarına bir şekilde mazeret bulmaya çalışıyor. Otoritesini korku ve kaba kuvvetle resmen empoze etmekte beis görmeyen günümüz devlet ve güvenlik kuvvetlerinin sinsi tavrı göz önüne alınırsa A.C.A.B.'nin dünyada ve Türkiye'de örnekleri bolca görülen polisi sempatik gösterme propagandası girişimlerinden mi, yoksa politik doğruluk konusunda bize ders verebilecek bir eser mi olduğunu bütün filmi görünce anlayacağız.
