Konstantin Shotayevich Meladz is a Georgian-born Ukrainian-Russian composer and producer. He is the older brother of singer Valery Meladze and co-founder and co-producer of the Ukrainian girl group Nu Virgos (ВИА Гра). Was born on in Batumi to Shota and Nelly Meladze, who were engineers. Konstantin has a brother, Valery (1965) and a sister, Liana (1968). Has composed and produced songs for artists such as Valery Meladze, Nu Virgos, Yin-Yang, Vera Brezhneva, Albina Dzhanabaeva, Sofia Rotaru ("Ya zhe yego lyubila" and "Odin na svete") and Polina Gagarina. He has also composed songs for a number of films, including Lilya 4-ever and a Russian 2003 version of Cinderella (Russian: Золушка) and Hipsters. In 2016 and 2017 he was a judge at Vidbir, Ukraine's National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Фабрика зірок, is a Ukrainian televised talent show, which began in 2007 that features a group of young male and female candidates from all over Ukraine. The show became a huge success and a must-watch event for its fans. It is the Ukrainian adaptation of the French television show Star Academy, which is produced by Endemol. Fabrika Zirok is produced by Netherlands company Endemol and Ukrainian Novyi Kanal. The show is based on the Spanish format called Operación Triunfo. The show basically revolves over 16 contestants that go live in an isolated penthouse apartment, with one of the contestants getting eliminated every week. The contestants get to showcase their talents in a weekly concert in which the contestants get to perform on stage with various designs, dancers, solo performances, a cappella on piano and sharing the stage with the most popular singers in Ukraine and the CIS.
