Coming Soon is the story of an existentialist-style experimental theatre troupe that travels from London to Scotland trying to organize the troupe for rehearsals to make it to opening night. Insightfully observed and brilliantly written. Throughout there is a wonderfully real balance of comedy of errors and the pathos of each person's part in the experimental troupe. We can relate to each character brought out through the comedy of their day to day struggle for survival. Fiona, the dippy ex-dancer come Arts Council assistant (Mabel Aitken) and Omid Djalili as the taxi driver stand out in a very talented cast. It's a production which is lively and memorable.

Alun arrives in Glasgow to play a gig at The Edge, a comedy club run by would-be promoter Max T. Max T should be looking after Alun, but he already has his hands full trying to keep Sandy Cervi, his second cousin and business partner, from taking over the club. In a bid to sort out some 'poontang' for himself and Alun, Max invites Eva, a psychiatric nurse and her photographer friend Christina along to the gig.

Hamish Macbeth is a comedy-drama series made by BBC Scotland and first aired in 1995. It is loosely based on a series of mystery novels by M. C. Beaton. The series concerns a local police officer, Constable Hamish Macbeth in the fictitious town of Lochdubh on the west coast of Scotland. The titular character was played by Robert Carlyle. It ran for three series from 1995 to 1997, with the first two series having six episodes and the third having eight.
