Dewey, üyesi olduğu rock grubunu "Gruplar Yarışıyor" adlı yarışmada zafere taşımaya kesin kararlıdır. Ancak grup arkadaşları aynı fikirde olmayınca kendisini hiç beklemediği bir anda kapının önünde bulur. Bir gün rastlantı sonucu okul orkestrasının çalışma yaptığı odanın önünden geçerken müzik seslerine istemeden kulak misafiri olur. O anda aklına parlak bir fikir gelir. Bu genç müzisyenleri eğiterek yüksek voltajlı bir rock grubu kurmaya karar vermiştir. Ancak bunu çocukların ailelerinden ve okul müdiresinden gizli yapmak zorundadır.
