Commissioned by the BBC & BFI, CLASH is a short experimental documentary critiquing Britain's obsession with period dramas, and how they erase the diverse reality of Britain today. This film - part parody, part candid interview - is a response to Humphrey Jennings' 1942 'LISTEN TO BRITAIN', a documentary used to propel a myth of national unity. CLASH, through the perspectives of underrepresented queer people of colour, critiques the myths we still tell ourselves on screen. Through candid interviews and staged period-drama sequences with our subjects - involving a hobby horse race in East London - our film explores the issues surrounding nostalgic heritage cinema, and how it erases the diverse landscape of Britain today.

Hamlet has the world at his feet. Young, wealthy and living a hedonistic life studying abroad. Then word reaches him that his father is dead. Returning home he finds his world is utterly changed, his certainties smashed and his home a foreign land. Struggling to understand his place in a new world order he faces a stark choice. Submit, or rage against the injustice of his new reality. Simon Godwin directs Paapa Essiedu as Hamlet in Shakespeare's searing tragedy. As relevant today as when it was written, Hamlet confronts each of us with the mirror of our own mortality in an imperfect world. Hamlet played in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon until throughout summer 2016.

Britain is in crisis. An ineffectual Queen Cymbeline rules over a divided dystopian Britain. Consumed with grief at the death of two of her children, Cymbeline's judgment is clouded. When Innogen, the only living heir, marries her sweetheart Posthumus in secret, an enraged Cymbeline banishes him. Behind the throne, a power-hungry figure plots to seize power by murdering them both. In exile Innogen's husband is tricked into believing she has been unfaithful to him and in an act of impulsive jealousy begins a scheme to have her murdered. Warned of the danger, Innogen runs away from court in disguise and begins a journey fraught with danger that will eventually reunite Cymbeline with a long-lost heir and reconcile the young lovers.

Dönemin sosyoekonomik gerilimini ve dünyadaki siyasi durumu İngiltere'deki bir geniş aileyi odak noktasına alarak gayet başarılı anlatıyor. Teknolojiyi ve insan ilişkilerine etkisini de son dönem Black Mirror'ından çok daha iyi aktarıyor. Bunda karakterlerle bağ kurmamızın da etkisi büyüktür tabii. Göçmenler ve yükselen sağın yanı sıra siyasilerin kitlesel korku ve "save the children"ı kullanması konuları da işlenmiş.

Martin Clunes, İngiltere'yi sarsan bir davanın baş dedektifi DCI Colin Sutton rolünde ekranlara geliyor. Genç bir Fransız kadın Londra'da öldürüldüğünde, soruşturmada cinayet nedeni ya da tanık bulunamaz. Ancak Sutton bu cinayeti farklı iki cinayetle ilişkilendirince, bir seri katilin peşine düşmesi gerektiğini fark eder.
