FilmBelgeselUnited by an unbreakable friendship, Rafael and Carolina embark on an emotional and geographical journey in search of reconciliation and acceptance. Along the way, we follow Rafael through the first years of his gender transition: an intimate process filled with challenges, discoveries, and small victories that bring him closer to the square meter of peace he so deeply longs for. A luminous story in which friendship becomes a refuge and the personal expands until it feels universal. Amid remote landscapes and shared moments of vulnerability, the film reveals the beauty — and also the harshness — of inhabiting a body in transformation in a world that is only just beginning to learn how to see.
FilmBelgeselRafael began his transition ten months ago. His long-awaited journey with testosterone is not an easy road; no one told him about the emotional process this change would entail. He feels so uncomfortable as his body changes that he finds himself unable to do something as simple as going to the beach. Together with his friend Carolina, who has accompanied him since the beginning of his transition, he will try to reconcile with himself and with Rafaella -his former name- to finally be able to swim in the sea.
