Çekildiği dönemin ardından neredeyse unutulan bu gerçeküstücü epik, bugünkü kült statüsünü Martin Scorsese ve Francis Ford Coppola tarafından keşfedilip, batılı seyircilerle buluşturulmasına borçlu.
