Ibrahim, a young German of Turkish descent, leads a double life, living with his tradition-bound family and spending his days looking for a respectable job. But outside his parent's apartment, Ibo (as he's called by his family and friends) is a confident gay man who works in a sex shop and is on the hunt for Mr. Right.

A dusty stretch of desert through which a Bundeswehr tank is struggling. The hungover Martin dozes off inside the vehicle. Suddenly shots ring out, grenades explode, and all of a sudden he is wide awake - and in the middle of a war ... Just a few hours ago, Martin was having a beer with his best friend Maddel, who was actually meant to be a soldier on this foreign assignment. But because Maddel is about to become a father, Martin goes to war for his buddy.

After a series of mysterious killings in the German countryside, it is discovered that vampires with origins in the Middle Ages are to blame for the attacks. The condemned vampire clan leader and his followers created a new master to replace him, one to rule over the present day, unless he an his minions can be stopped by a group of modern vampire killers.

Johannes is seriously wounded during a battle in World War I and wakes up weeks later in the care of an attractive woman who leads a hermit existence and has nursed him back to health. He falls in love with the pretty woman named Levizia and soon realizes that there are some things that are not right with her. Soon after, Johannes, who has no memory of his past, is wanted as a deserter and has to flee together with Levizia. Piece by piece Levizia confronts him with the fact that his life was completely different before and that she should never love him. A confrontation with her pursuers and the compulsion of her destiny seems to become inevitable.

These are the stories of relationships taking place in the fictional five-star hotel Fürstenhof, located in Feldkirchen-Westerham near Rosenheim with the plot revolving around members of the family room area, the hotel owners, and employees.

SOKO Leipzig is a German police procedural television programme, a spin-off of the earlier German police programme SOKO 5113. It was first broadcast on 31 January 2001, on German television channel ZDF. On 12 November 2008, the first part of a two-part crossover between SOKO Leipzig and British police procedural The Bill was aired, with the same version being shown on both ZDF and British television channel ITV1.
