Far away in the universe, a planet AMIKUS is facing serious pollution and a depletion of its natural resources. Chen Feng Jiao (Carrie Wong) is tasked with seeking a new livable planet and to locate the whereabouts of a defector TA1-2345. To blend in with the Earthlings, Feng Jiao and her comrades disguise themselves as a typical Singaporean family and everyone is assigned a “human” name. Living next to the Yang family, Feng Jiao and Yang Tian Sheng (Shaun Chen) share a mutual dislike for each other which eventually turns into love. While Chen Xiang Lin (Aloysius Pang) kisses Yang Tian Ning (Paige Chua) and the latter becomes pregnant! Another neighbor Zhou Zhi Qiang discovers the true identities of the Chens and uses it to take advantage of Chen Xiao Long (Brandon Wong). With their leader falling in love and a human-alien baby on its way, will our friends from afar complete their mission? And can they uncover the defector who has been taking on a human-form and living among them?

It is the beginning of a new day. Ziqiang, aka Fish Prince, is a fishmonger who gets along well with everyone. Niu Ji and Hao Ji are two rival fishball noodle stalls in the hawker centre. Business at Niu Ji is brisk because its fishballs are freshly made every day. Hao Ji is run by Hao Youcai and his wife, Luo Na. He is an honest man. An unreasonable woman, Luo Na often picks on Niu Wuyin of Niu Ji. A maid buys tofu from Amy and leaves her trolley at the stall. While she is in the toilet, an old lady claims to be her mistress and takes the trolley. Youcai, who helps the old lady with the trolley, is forced to compensate the maid. A psychotic man poses as a doctor and sneaks into Youcai’s house when Youcai’s mother leaves the door open. He is about to molest Youcai’s daughter, Meiying, when the telephone rings. Wuyin’s son, Shaowei, who is a real estate agent, is calling Meiying.

The story revolves around three brothers who grew up in a male-dominant family and all inherited a chauvinistic streak from their father. Eldest brother Zhang Nai Ping aspires to be his own boss but he suffers many setbacks in his career and his marriage. His wife Zhou Hui Min cannot tolerate his chauvinism, they eventually divorced. In a twist of event, Nai Ping chanced upon a business opportunity in confinement food catering. Second brother Zhang Nai Liang suffers from ear disease which leads to migraine and had to give up his passion in ballet. He conducts ballet classes for children instead, but a parent accused him of behaving inappropriately towards her daughter - The youngest brother Zhang Nai Yi graduates from the arts school specializing in fashion design. However, his lack of social skills and introvert nature hinders his chances at job interviews.

Lin He Xiang Niang raised four sons and two daughters on her own. Lin Shi Jie is the son of Xiang Niang's deceased eldest son. Shi Jie's wife Su Xian left him. Shi Jie then moved abroad with their son, Jia Yuan. When Jia Yuan returned to the ancestral house and witnessed how Xiang Niang's children eyed her inheritance, he worked hand in hand with Xiang Niang to bring the family back together. The third son Lin Xiao He is domineering towards his family and his wife adheres to all he says. The duo soon splits after realising their mismatch, however they still habour feelings for each other. The youngest son Lin Xiao Ping is a tailor. His son Lin Shi Jun is one who seeks to take shortcuts to success.

Soon, each member of the family gets trapped with him, repeating the same day over and over again. They start to enjoy the days without tomorrow, but soon realised that life is meaningless without progress. While everyone hopes for a better tomorrow, what will you do when tomorrow never ends?
