Film içindeki filmin yönetmenini Truffaut’nun bizzat kendisinin canlandırdığı yapım; makyözünden dublörüne, yapımcısından sahne amirine, yönetmen asistanından klaketçisine kadar bir filmin her alanında çalışan emekçilere adanmış izlenimi veriyor.
