Kim, a member of a lively young group, is released from jail after having served time for attempted rape. To celebrate his release, Quickie and Rabbit, the group's leaders, organize a wild party in Rabbit's summer house.

Stine tries to figure out her feelings for Jens, Michael, and Søren. She is most in love with Jens. However, Jens is always so serious and only thinks about school. Stine and Jens move in together, but this does not solve any of their problems. When Jens does not come home one evening without letting her know, Stine moves in with Anders. However, she misses Jens.

One Big Family is a Danish television series in 12 episodes, first broadcast in 1982-1983. The series was directed by Bent Mejding, while the script was written in turns by Lise Nørgaard, Paul Hammerich and Jane Aamund. The series is produced by Nordisk Film for Danmarks Radio.
