Marian Rose White is placed in a State Home for the feeble-minded by her uncaring mother when her father dies. She is a young teenager and there is nothing wrong with her except for some clumsiness, mostly caused by poor vision. State law (in 1934) requires sterilization of all inmates. Sympathetic nurse, Bonnie McNeil, befriends Marian and protests her treatment.

Hava Kurdu teknoloji şahikası son derece modifiye bir helikopter idi. Kızların idollerinden Jan-Michel Vincent, Hava Kurdu'nu uçuran Hawke'ı canlandırırdı, eski meşhur artistlerden Ernest Borgnine de yardımcısı Dominik'i oynardı. Bunlar ne zaman vukuat olsa cihazı sakladıkları mağaradan çıkartır, kötüleri haklarlardı, çünkü bu helikopter maşşallah Yıldız Savaşları'ndaki Millenium Falcon gibiydi, hedefe kilitlendi mi, attığını vururdu. Hedefe kilitlenmek lafı bu diziyle dillerimize pelesenk olmuştur. Dosya şifreleri sezon sonlarında belirtilmiştir.
