After Nils injures his foot, they descend into a remote fishing village in Lofoten. Though the setting appears idyllic, its inhabitants are cold and hostile. As tensions escalate, unsettling events reveal that sinister forces may be at play beneath the surface. It was filmed in Vestvågøya in the Lofoten Islands in Norway during the Summer of 1989.
