Sommer is a Danish TV-drama aired on DR1 in 2008. The series was created by Jesper W. Nielsen and Karina Dam

Across three decades – the 1970s to the turn of the millennium – the lives of three boys – Lars Rolsted, Jon Olufsen, and Martin Lund Jensen – are explored, teeming with grandparents, Marxists, expatriate Danes, stolen kisses, rockers, pushers and welfare clients, yuppies and small, polite suburban punks.

Cecilie sees and hears things no one else does; places suddenly change appearance, people aren´t really there. One night she experiences a rape, but no traces are to be found. Her husband Mads commits her to a psychiatric hospital. With the help of a psychiatrist, Per, she begins to see a frightening connection between her condition and a brutal murder that happened more than 30 years before.
