During an operation with a master criminal, an undercover cop fails his mission because he was shot by an uniform officer. Terry (Teddy Robin), a diminutive rock enthusiast and manager of all-girl band The Playgirls, finds himself caught up in a chaotic espionage caper. After two bumbling Japanese hitmen tear apart a rock bar in search of the spy Yap and a hidden treasure map, Terry is wrongly blamed and storms out. He soon discovers the dying Yap in his car, and with her last breath she conceals the map on one of his posters. A group of male cadets tangle with a gang of robbers before they even enter the Hong Kong Police Academy, where they are trained by a fierce police chief. They must deal with the robbers successfully if the want to prove to their superiors their worthiness in the police force.
