Bepi, a gondolier with a girl in every port becomes entangled in too many romances. While Bepi is overly focused on a pair of gamine American tourists, fellow motor-boatman, Toni, threatens to steal away his childhood sweetheart.

After having a fight with his girl friend, Marc follows her to Rome to try and win her back. On the train he meets a girl who is on her way to stay with her uncle. He gives her a lift to her uncle's, but they discover he has gone to South America. So as she has nowhere else to go, she stays with Marc and his cousin, which inevitably leads to romance.

The daughter of a former Neapolitan gangster, Carmela has a law degree and is set to marry an aristocrat, as her father wishes. Adaptation of a novel by Johannes Mario Simmel. The story takes place in the Dolomites, where a conflict arises between the clergy of a monastery and the inhabitants of a shanty town for construction workers over the water supply. A young novice feels increasingly attracted to the men who, after work, enjoy themselves in dimly lit bars with music and alcohol with easy girls. As a result, she is in danger of falling away from the faith and, instigated by a woman from the village, even leaves the convent. In the end, however, she finds her way back to God.

The Ed Sullivan Show is an American TV variety show that originally ran on CBS from Sunday June 20, 1948 to Sunday June 6, 1971, and was hosted by New York entertainment columnist Ed Sullivan. It was replaced in September 1971 by the CBS Sunday Night Movie, which ran only one season and was eventually replaced by other shows. In 2002, The Ed Sullivan Show was ranked #15 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.
