But that's not enough for him, being an infantile egoist he wants to tame the "wild bird" fully and break every last bit of her own will. It's all hard to believe if you haven't seen it yourself.

In order to prevent that from happening, the mother must now tell each of them the truth about their identities. The film is based on the theatre piece of the same name by Oscar Wilde.

The new member of parliament arranges for an assassination attempt on the general. However, the general is only slightly injured in the attack. The hired assassin now feels betrayed by his client and takes revenge by murdering him...
