Yönetmen Theo Angelopoulos’un üçlemesinin ilk filmi olan Ağlayan Çayır’da, 1919-1949 arasında yaşanan bir trajik hayat hikayesi anlatılıyor. Eleni, Odessa’da doğmuş fakat savaş döneminde annesi ve babasını kaybetmiştir. Eleni Alexis’in ailesi tarafından evlat edinilir ve aile Odessa’dan göç eder. Ağlayan Çayır, yeni bir kasabaya yerleşen aileyle beraber büyümeye başlayan çocukların, özellikle de Eleni’nin hikayesidir. Bu bir Yunan trajedisi diyen Angelopoulos, Eleni’yi (Troyalı Helen) bir simge olarak kullanmış. Bir kadının çocukluğundan başlayıp gençliğini, aşık oluşunu, sahip olduğu herşeyi kaybedip yeniden yalnız kalışını anlatıyor.

"The Gaze Adventure" is simultaneously an essay film and a fiction film. that approaches the multiple function of the gaze as a main element of the cinematic world, and as a carrier of the cinematic journey.

A woman is hired as a debt collection agent in a call center. Under pressure from her team leader, she tries to adapt to her working conditions. After hearing a tragic story, she becomes interested in the lives of people she has been speaking to on the phone.

A contemporary married couple and their eight-year-old son are exposed to our observation. The husband, around 35, works as a tax specialist for an import-export firm. His 30-year-old wife looks after their child and their home. The man's impending promotion at work triggers their dreams of social advancement and financial improvement. As their plain everyday life unfolds the characters are denuded to reveal their different needs and desires which render their functioning and communication increasingly hard. The man's inability to meet the escalating demands of his social circle and those of his wife brings tension into their relationship and leads to the culmination of the drama. The unexpected as well as extreme solution given by the heroine leads both the hero and the viewer to redefine reality on the basis of how things look and how they really are.

Shot on the stage of the National Theater Rex - Marika Kotopouli, it captures, balancing between theater and cinema, important historical events that make the myth that surrounds the glamorous protagonist even more powerful and charming.

The everyday life of three young women in the decaying Athens.

In 1935, financially strapped widow Louisa Durrell, whose life has fallen apart, decides to move from England, with her four children (three sons, one daughter), to the island of Corfu, Greece. Once there, the family moves into a dilapidated old house that has no electricity and that is crumbling apart. But life on Corfu is cheap, it's an earthly paradise, and the Durrells proceed to forge their new existence, with all its challenges, adventures, and forming relationships.

The main theme of the series is the way in which a person is led to murder while each story in the series combines elements of drama, social stories and thrillers. The duration of each episode is 45 minutes and is in the form of a psychograph. While the stories in the series are based on real events that have preoccupied public opinion, their dramatization has undergone some changes.

When Eva, a little Greek-Romanian girl with a speech impediment, loses both her parents on the same day in an accident, Loukas, her reclusive, racist grandfather who has never met her is the only Greek relative who can take custody of her, yet he stubbornly refuses.
