A young filmmaker sets out to make the most terrifying horror film of all time. But shooting without money and a cast of only his non-actor friends, the director soon realizes the only way to make the most realistic horror movie is to actually murder his entire cast on camera. Victor, an aimless womaniser seen as a burden by friends and family begins to experience disturbing hallucinations in the wake of a new romantic relationship with a man, Lionel. These apparitions become more visceral as the two become more emotionally attached until it all reaches a breaking point.
