A Muralha is a Brazilian telenovela that first aired on TV Excelsior in 1968. It is based on a novel by Diná Silveira de Queirós.

A cowboy narrates his 'jagunço' life of disputes, revenges, loves and deaths, through the years that he traveled central-east Brazil, in the first decades of the 20th century, while federal troops were in conflict with provincial forces.

In a small town, three men meet after 15 years for a wedding and, instead of attending the ceremony, they go to a bar and start remembering the past, along with their sexual adventures.

Juliano is a millionaire who leads a boring life amidst the facilities that money provides him. One day, he decides to change his routine and associates with a mad scientist, Professor Kunz, who invents a magic potion, a drug that releases the other side of the personality of those who consume it. Juliano becomes a guinea pig and tries the potion, transforming into the beautiful Juliana (Vera Fischer). However, the effects of the new drug will cause many confusions between the millionaire and the crazy professor, creating complicated situations for both of them.

The father, after some resistance, reveals that his moralism comes from a childhood trauma when he caught his parents in a sexual relationship. Eva believes the father can benefit from her expertise and will try to cure him.
