Olof Buckard

Shows what happens on a completely ordinary day in the year 2000 in Kronoberg. We enter the plot in the middle of a local news broadcast about a flood disaster. There is practically an emergency situation in the area.

The sawmill in a northern Swedish village close down. Nils becomes unemployed. In order to cope with needs of his family, he is forced to travel south. His wife Karin and the children will stay in the village until further notice. Nils starts working at a factory. In addition to the job, he has been promised a good residence so that the family can move to him.

A stripper from Club Chez Nous is murdered. The killer contacts a newspaper to whitewash himself. Two journalists start to investigate the case and stumble on other crimes along the way.

About an unemployed father's relationship with his son. The father explores his innermost desires. Dancing ballet in red tulle skirt is one.

About the controversial French author, poet, and creator of pataphysics, Alfred Henri Jarry (1873-1907), a symbolist writer who is best known for his play "Ubu Roi" (1896).
