Doctor Who (Türkçe anlamıyla Doktor Kim) BBC yapımı İngiliz bilim kurgu televizyon dizisidir. Dizi; Doktor olarak bilinen, zamanda yolculuk yapan insansı Dünya dışı yaratık olan Zaman Lordu'nun maceralarını anlatmaktadır. Doktor, dışarıdan 1950'lerden kalma bir polis kulübesi gibi görünen TARDIS adındaki bilince sahip ve zamanda yolculuk edebilen bir uzay gemisi ile evreni araştırır. Doktor, yardımcıları ile beraber uzay ve zamanı keşfeder, sorunları çözer, yaratıklarla yüzleşir ve tarihe yapılan müdahalelere engel olur. Guinness Rekorlar Kitabı tarafından dünyanın en uzun süren bilim kurgu televizyon programı olarak listelenen dizi aynı zamanda İngiliz popüler kültürünün de önemli bir parçasıdır. Dizi iyi planlanmış hikâyeleri, ilk yayınlandığı dönemdeki düşük bütçeli yaratıcı özel efektleri ve elektronik müzik kullanımındaki önderliği ile tanınır.

Rockliffe's Babies is a British television police procedural devised by Richard O'Keefe, and starring Ian Hogg as maverick Detective Sergeant Alan Rockliffe, who is assigned to train seven young recruits to the CID, all fresh out of uniform. Under his irascible guidance, it is hoped that they will blossom into full-blown detectives. But Rockliffe is human – so human that he makes more mistakes than the 'Babies' he's supposed to be training. A follow-up series, Rockliffe's Folly, follows Rockliffe through his relocation to Wessex, dealing with rural crimes as part of a new team of investigators. The seven episode third series proved to be the last, with many citing a change in the programme's formula for the heavy ratings decline. Many viewers stated that the success of the two Babies series came not from Rockliffe himself, but from the popular ensemble cast.

Open All Hours is a British television sitcom created and written by Roy Clarke, starring Ronnie Barker as penny-pinching corner-shopkeeper Albert Arkwright, and David Jason as his nephew and assistant Granville. Mr Don & Mr George was a Channel 4 sitcom, featuring two characters from the Scottish comedy sketch show Absolutely. Moray Hunter and Jack Docherty played two unrelated characters who happened to share a surname. Hunter and Docherty wrote the series and it was made by their production company, Absolutely Productions. The humour was surreal and often featured ridiculous visual gags and wordplay. A single six-episode series was made, and was first broadcast in the UK on Channel 4 in 1993. The series was released on VHS in the 1990s. A single VHS tape was released with all six episodes on as well. This tape stated that it had the entire first series on one tape, however no further series were made.

Agent Z And The Penguin From Mars was a 1996 Children's BBC sitcom, based on the book of the same name by Mark Haddon. The six episode series followed the exploits of Ben Simpson, played by Duncan Barton, and his friends Barney, played by Andrew McKay, and Jenks, played by Reggie Yates, who together formed the "Crane Grove Gang", named after the street where they lived. This was a society dedicated to playing ingenious practical jokes in an initiative called "Agent Z".
