Luffy'nin hayali, Korsanlar kralı olmak ve One Piece denen kimsenin bilmediği, görmediği hazineyi ele geçirmektir. Küçük yaşlardan beri hep korsan olmak isteyen Luffy, kazara bir şeytan meyvesi (Akuma No Mi) yemiştir. 3 farklı şeytan meyvesi vardır ve bu meyvalar yiyenlere çok üstün güçler sağlamaktadır ancak bu güçlerin bedeli asla yüzememektir. Luffy'nin yediği meyve onu bir lastik çocuğa çevirir. Bu olaydan yıllar sonra Luffy denize açılır. Yolculuğu sırasında ekibini toplayacak ve One Piece'i bulmak için Grand Line'da birbirinden tehlikeli ve komik maceralara atılacaktır.

Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey in search of the Winged Maiden who was bound to the sky centuries ago after hearing the old childhood tale from his mother. İlk bakışta pek ilginç olmayan bu hikâye Japon foto muhabiri Makoto Shinjou’nun ilgisini çekmiştir ve alan 88 olarak bilinen hava üssüne doğru yola çıkmıştır. Üsse geldiğinde Japon bir pilotun burada ne işi olduğunu sorar, ancak pek cevap alamaz. Shin Kazama ile aralarındaki tuhaf çekim gücü sayesinde Makoto üste kalıp bu Japon’un ilginç olduğunu düşündüğü hikâyesini öğrenmeye çalışır. Gerçi zaten olan biten her şeyden haberdardır ancak Shin’in bakışları Makoto üzerinde çok tuhaf bir etki oluşturmuştur ve belki de onu, almış olduğu görevden bile vazgeçirecektir. * 1985 yapımı OAV Area 88'in yeniden yapımıdır.

The four episodes are set in Southtown, the imaginary city well known to all fans as the stage of numerous death matches throughout the KOF series. Many past heroes of the saga make their appearance here, and the four plots intertwine to create a large-scale drama, that is also linked to the story of KOF Maximum Impact 2.
