The Banned from Broadcast series is depicted under the premise that VTR footage that was originally canceled from broadcast due to certain circumstances is re-edited and aired. In this new episode, polygamy is the central theme. The story follows one man and his three wives, and through the recorded VTR footage, it ultimately reveals which of the wives murdered the man.

Anmitsu Hime is a manga series by Shosuke Kurakane. The story was originally produced in 1949-1955. In 1986-1987, Izumi Takemoto retold the original manga series, releasing it under the same title.
