Márta, a 40-year-old neurosurgeon, falls in love. She leaves her shining American career behind and returns to Budapest to start a new life with the man she loves. The story of the film unfolds in one night. A chance meeting of a young boy and an old woman on Christmas night. From behind the dark clouds of their life full of secrets, the Sun breaks out unexpectedly for them too: the Christmas Eve, which starts out as hopeless, brings a child to the boy and a mother to the woman.

Misi (16) and Áron (18) are half brothers, who are raised by their mother, but they could not be more different. Both boys are good at fencing, and when Misi joins the same fencing team as his older brother, and quickly turns out to be even more talented, Áron's repressed jealousy starts to resurface.

The film tells the story of Dávid, an eighteen-year-old negligent teen. After eight years of being apart, Dávid and his mother move back from Vojvodina to Hungary to live with Dávid’s father. We slowly discover Dávid’s secret operation: he illegally transports refugees across the border for money, in order to fund his move abroad.

Adam lives in the poorest part of Eastern Hungary in isolation from society, works as a shepherd on a farm and lives with his police officer father in an oppressive relationship. Hip-hop and rapping is important for Adam, this is the only way he can express his feelings and get rid of his speech impediment. One day he unexpectedly achieves success in a national online talent show, as Larry, with a song he wrote about his father's unforgivable sins. Adam makes it to the finals, but soon realizes that he is unable to rap in front of others. In order to grow up to his popular online alter ego, Adam must break through his inner barrier and face the strange authority of his father.

The ambitious receptionist becomes a key figure in a cold war military operation, which makes him realise that, although he will never become a super-spy, he can be just as happy beside his wife as an average man.
