Despite her position at the epicentre of the Brazilian bossa nova scene, singer Heloísa Maria Buarque de Hollanda, known as Miúcha, has been largely underappreciated. This documentary, which dives into her career and personal life through a rich collection of archives, aims to change that.

Like so many, he is arrested, tortured and banished from the country. In exile in Chile, together with his partner Cecilia, he comes to understand society in a different way. He begins to work and live with the Chilean people, realizing that to change reality it is first necessary to understand it.

Alê Félix, a blogger, wrote a text for her blog, called “Sobre o Menino do Rio”. That was in 2006. The text is beautiful and very sensitive. Some time later, filmmaker Felipe Joffily, among links and texts he read to research the song Menino do Rio, read Alê's text and was enchanted.
