A couple stays at a friend's house post their registered marriage and later, mutually decides that the husband poses as the confidant's spouse in order to inherit the uncle's wealth.

Naga lives with his stepfather, Vishwanath Gowda, and his half-siblings. His life takes a turn when his stepfather makes Naga in charge of his estate, which enrages his half-brother.

Rajesh and a successful model, Geeta, get married. While Geeta gives up modelling, she is forced to get back into the profession when her family goes through a financial crisis.

Major Vishwanath is a dog lover who lives peacefully with his brother, Vijay. His life takes a drastic turn when he finds Mohini in his garden and brings her to his house.

The story starts off with an ancient painting of Nagavalli (Vimala Raman), distributed as a prize to bharathanatyam dancer Saraswathi (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy), her husband and her family. At the Engagement day of Gowri (Sandhya), one of her friends had fainted by encountering a huge thirty-feet Snake/Serpent, and the bridegroom/fiancé had ran away from the family house fearing of something. All strange incidents happen as the family called for a snake charmer to the house, but the snake charmer had died when he attempted to make the serpent appear.

Two despicable brothers cheat their employer, steal his wealth, kill him and throw his son into the river. When the boy survives and grows up, he decides to take revenge on the men who ruined him.

Apthamitra movie is based on Nagavalli (Dancer). Ramesh, an engineer buys the palace. Everyone believes that the spirit of Nagavalli, a dancer is captivated in a room of that palace. Ganga she opens  the locked room with the help of Soumya. Then start the troubles. Vijay who came to ramesh house for holidays.

When they do they do convince him to control himself, while Mohan gets an arrest warrant for Vinod, Kaamna's molester. Things do not go smoothly in court as the matter is put off for several months and then Somnath and Kaamna are killed in a bomb explosion. Now Mohan and Vikram handcuff Ravi on their balcony while they finalize the funeral arrangements...
